Cardiff Bay became host to the 6th act of the Extreme Sailing Series 2013. The Extreme 40 catamaran measures 40 feet long with 23 foot beam and a mast height of 62 feet. They can reach speeds of up to 75km/h. They are made out of carbon fibre. Team Wales Landrover is seen here 'flying the hull' during which the hull can reach 3 metres out of the water.
